		<description>What I find annoying is that folks like you intentionally mischaracterize what I actually wrote.    In this case you did include most of the text, but you take a point that is different than the one I took.  Using Linux isn’t a problem, positioning it as a weapon against the US at a time when politics are very dicey with regard to such statements seems foolhardy.   And, with regard to brands, you may want to actually read up on what a brand is next time.   And you’d be surprised at who actually protects (and charges for the use of) the Linux Brand.  

Brand

A brand typically includes a name, logo, and other visual elements such as images or symbols. It also encompasses the set of expectations associated with a product or service which typicaly arise in the minds of people. Such people include employees of the brand owner, people involved with distribution, sale or supply of the product or service, and ultimate consumers.
